I’m so pleased to announce that Gia Almuaili has joined us here this fall as a Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication and that she has already gotten involved with Chemical Rhetoric Group projects.
Gia, who is originally from Kuwait, received both her bachelors and her masters degrees in Strategic Communication from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She studies issues of reproductive health as it relates to media representations, local and global public health campaigns, and interpersonal communication.
