This is an extremely prestigious fellowship, and I can think of no one more deserving of this award than Raquel. Her work ethic, insight, and analytic voice is second to none, and her project exploring the rhetorical life of sickle cell anemia is–to say the least–sorely needed. Way to go, Raquel!!
