Madison received this recognition for her fantastic dissertation, U.S. Medical Controversy and Its Discursive Legacy in the Mid-Twentieth Century Thalidomide Disaster, which she defended in 2022 before taking her current position as Assistant Professor at Seton Hall University. Way to go, Madison!!
