Jasmine Aguilar Lopez is a recent graduate from our program in Communicating Science, Health, Environment, and Risk, and she has been an amazing member of our research team working on exploring the inclusion of fertility information in sex education curricula.
This fall, she moved to New York City to begin working at Pfizer as a Patient Equity Research Associate and Breakthrough Fellow.

Her position has her working on a range of projects related to pharmacogenomics, vaccine hesitancy, and how the social determinants of health play a role in health outcomes among diverse communities. In 2027, she will begin work on an MBA/MPH program through the fellowship. I simply could not be more proud of, and amazed by, Jasmine, and I can’t wait to see where her work takes her next.
