I can’t BELIEVE that it is already graduation season, but here we are and here are some of my favorite photos from the College of Humanities Convocation this morning at the University of Utah. The front image features wonderful colleagues Glen Feighery, Crystal Lumpkins, Kim Kaphingst, and me.
Below, the fantastic Leandra Hernandez and I stand beside our incredible student, Jasmine Aguilar Lopez, just after she was recognized as the 2025 College of Humanities Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher. Department of Communication alumnus and ESPN journalist Holly Rowe gave an inspiring keynote address, and the crowd was packed with excited friends and family, even at the early hour of 8:00 a.m. This was truly a day to remember and celebrate–congratulations to the graduates and awardees!
