Earlier this fall, I was honored to be named Distinguished Scholar by the College of Humanities at the University of Utah. I am so grateful to the wonderful colleagues who nominated me for this award, and I am really treasuring this accompanying beehive-shaped sculpture. It looks great in my office, and it makes me smile as I’m walking around campus these days (usually to the Marriott Library, pictured below) enjoying the beautiful fall weather.
